Kehlani Makes Las Vegas Their Playground In “After Hours” Music Video

The visual for Kehlani‘s song of the summer contender, “After Hours,” is here.

Directed by Amber Park at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas, the music video showcases how the Bay Area songbird turned Sin City into their personal playground as they transformed every space into a good time. The colorful, vibrant visual paired with the record’s pulsating beat and hypnotic choreography made you feel part of Keh’s entourage as they incorporated the viral “After Hours” dance challenge and even featured a surprise appearance from Cordel “Scatta” Burrell. (The song samples his classic hit, “Coolie Dance Rhythm.”)

From the bar to the pool to the suite, Keh’s party never stopped and with the vibes that high, we understand why one would want to ride that wave all day and night.

“Had an absolute blast directing this one with the greatest @kehlani. truly an energy of love & so much joy. thank you to the craziest team & crew to make this happen,” said Park via Instagram.

Prior to the video’s release, Kehlani teased, “Wish i could tell the story of how much it took for this video to happen but all i can say is I’m super grateful for everyone that came together for it, it was a true labor of JOY.”

“After Hours” marks the two-time Grammy nominee’s first solo release since 2022’s blue water road. The dance anthem has garnered nearly 20 million stream globally after first gaining almost 5 million streams domestically during its first week—making it Keh’s strongest debut to-date.

When speaking on the record’s conception, they told Apple Music, “One of my favorite songs of all time, but also just like to be outside is —no pun intended—is ‘Move Ya Body’ by Nina Sky and I remember walking around the house like ‘Why has nobody sampled [this]?’ Because those drums are so recognizable and everybody just loses it.”

Their new album will reportedly debut this summer.
