Ice Spice Sparks Up In “Gimme A Light” Video Teaser

Ice Spice is ready to blaze one in the “Gimme A Light” video teaser. Shared on social media, the Bronx native cruises through the city with smoke flowing out of the windows of her hot pink Range Rover. Inside the luxury vehicle, the rapper twerks, surrounded by stuffed animals, as she enjoys a hotbox smoke session.

The clip also gives a sneak peek at a party scene, with the 24-year-old entering a packed venue with pink lighting.

“Gimme A Light,” produced by Ice Spice’s frequent collaborator Riot, samples Sean Paul‘s 2002 smash hit “Gimme The Light.” The original track also features the “Buzz Riddim” produced by the duo Troyton Rami and Roger Mackenzie of Black Shadow Records. Per Dancehall Mag, it has also been used in Mad Cobra’s “Press Trigger,” Beenie Man’s “Toy Friend,” Mr. Vegas’ “A Nuh Di Same,” Elephant Man’s Haters Wanna War,” and more.
