Future, Metro Boomin, Travis Scott, And Playboi Carti Own The Night In “Type Sh*t” Music Video
Future and Metro Boomin have delivered the first official music video from their latest collaborative album, WE DON’T TRUST YOU. The duo teamed up with Travis Scott and Playboi Carti for “Type Sh*t” and together, they stand guard in the visual.
Directed by Gunner Stahl and LouieKnows, the video finds the musicians at various hot spots throughout the night. They dodge the rain to flex luxury vehicles and make it rain at a strip club. Various cameos are made in the clip including appearances from producer Southside and rapper Ken Carson.
“I don’t hang with rats, that’s some new type sh*t/Get a ni**a whacked on the news type sh*t/Sippin’ drank and Activis on some Screw type sh*t/Just a sad h*e runnin’ through the crew type sh*t,” raps Future on the club-ready track.

Their newly released, 17-track album, WE DON’T TRUST YOU, features Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, and Rick Ross. A new collaboration from Metro Boomin and Future, We Still Don’t Trust You, is due on April 12. On social media, the St. Louis-bred producer teased “Young Metro” as the next track to receive a music video treatment.
“I love making beats, I love making songs, I love making music so much,” shared Metro Boomin with EBONY magazine in July 2023. “I’m waking up working on this every day, so I knew, one day, something had to shake, because I’m putting so much into this.”
