Kwn Announces New EP 'And All Pride Aside,' Shares 'Touch Myself' and 'Idea of Love'

Rising R&B sensation Kwn is ready to set the summer ablaze with new music. The East London native has officially announced that her upcoming EP, And All Pride Aside, is scheduled for release on June 26 via RCA Records.

This project serves as a direct follow-up to her breakout EP, With All Due Respect. Reflecting on the creative process, Kwn shared her excitement with fans on Instagram: “Thank you for being patient. Very ready for you to hear the version of me you haven’t met yet. It’s arrogant, it’s sexy, it’s fun, but also vulnerable, honest and unapologetically myself.”

The 11-track collection will feature the previously released single “Hopeless Romantic,” alongside two brand-new offerings: “Touch Myself” and “Idea of Love.”

Exploring New Sounds

Produced by FaxOnly and Zeek, “Touch Myself” stands out as a passionate, high-energy confessional. The track explores the intensity of desire, with Kwn delivering a candid performance about the yearning for intimacy. As she sings in the chorus, “I touch myself just thinkin’ about you,” the song captures a raw, unfiltered perspective on attraction.

In contrast, “Idea of Love” showcases a more vulnerable side of the artist. Featuring cinematic strings by Jaylon Black and intricate guitar work by CTAG, the song finds Kwn contemplating the complexities of modern relationships. She touches on the fear of fleeting connections and the urgency of finding a genuine foundation early in her career, noting, “Wanna find me somebody while I’m still in the mud / ‘Cause sh*t gon’ change once I get me some bucks.”

Building a Legacy

Kwn’s rise has been steady since the release of With All Due Respect in August 2025, which featured notable collaborations with artists like Kehlani and FLO. Regarding her artistic trajectory, Kwn noted, “This project is me setting a foundation for myself in R&B. I’ve done a few great features this past year and now I want people to start taking me in for who I am as an artist.”

She added, “I feel a lot of people had previously been sleeping on me & doubting me. With all due respect, they should have never done that. Bow!”

Following a successful, sold-out headlining tour, Kwn is poised to solidify her place in the contemporary R&B landscape. Fans can stream the new tracks below.
