Floyd Mayweather Hit With $1M Child Support Order After Paternity Ruling
Floyd Mayweather has been ordered to pay nearly $1 million in retroactive child support following a Nevada court’s paternity ruling.
Floyd Mayweather is facing a significant financial setback following a recent court order requiring him to pay nearly $1 million in retroactive child support. The ruling comes after a Nevada court officially determined that the retired boxing legend is the father of a 4-year-old girl.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports, Mayweather was legally recognized as the child’s father in March. The presiding judge has ordered the athlete to pay $32,850 per month in ongoing support, in addition to a lump sum of $933,050 to cover unpaid back support.
The legal battle began in June 2023 when the child’s mother, Paige Moorehead, filed for legal confirmation of paternity. Moorehead, who reportedly worked at Mayweather’s Las Vegas strip club, Girl Collection, for several years, alleged that she and the former fighter were involved in a long-term relationship that ended after she informed him of her pregnancy. She further claimed that Mayweather encouraged her to terminate the pregnancy and subsequently dismissed her from her position at the club.
Floyd Mayweather Enters Default Judgment

Court records indicate that the judgment was entered by default after Mayweather failed to comply with multiple court directives, including requests related to DNA testing. The court noted that while approximately $151,000 has been contributed toward the total amount owed, the remainder remains outstanding. To ensure future compliance, the judge has authorized Moorehead to pursue liens against specific California properties owned by Mayweather, which are reportedly valued at up to $2 million. The child is believed to be the fifth for the boxing icon.
This development follows reports earlier this month suggesting that Mayweather’s alleged tax debt could potentially jeopardize his ability to travel internationally. The timing of these financial pressures is particularly notable as the athlete prepares for an upcoming exhibition fight against Manny Pacquiao overseas.
