R&B Group No Guidnce Announces Breakup
After five years of musical success and viral acclaim, the R&B quartet No Guidnce has officially announced their disbandment.
British R&B group No Guidnce has disbanded. The quartet confirmed the news in a joint statement shared on Instagram, marking the end of a five-year journey that saw them rise from viral cover artists to a recognized force in the R&B landscape.
“After an unforgettable and eventful five years together, we have made the difficult decision to officially bring No Guidnce the band to a close,” the group stated. They expressed deep gratitude to their fanbase, noting that the support they received was instrumental in keeping them motivated through the highs and lows of their career. “We are very proud of what we managed to achieve and the impact we had as a boyband in such a short space of time, against all odds. We only wish we could’ve continued to pave the way.”
Financial Constraints and Future Paths
The group—comprising members Zeekay, Josh, Kaci, and Eshan—cited financial constraints as the primary catalyst for their split. “This may feel like an abrupt ending to some of you, especially as you know we have unreleased music that we were keen to share for a long time but unfortunately, we no longer have the financial means and resources to deliver that to you,” they explained. Despite the professional dissolution, the members emphasized that they remain close, stating, “We love each other and will be brothers for life.”
A Legacy of Viral Success
Formed in 2021, No Guidnce quickly built a dedicated following through their viral song covers. Their debut EP, Is It A Crime?, released in June 2023, featured the title track which garnered nearly 35 million streams on Spotify. They followed this success with the Spicy EP and the acoustic project No Guidnce (Unplugged). The group underwent a lineup change in 2024 when original member Ebubé departed, citing creative misalignment, before Eshan joined to help record their 2025 EP, Confessions of a Loverboy.
Individual Pursuits
As the group moves forward, individual members are already exploring solo careers. Zeekay has released singles like “Out Of Order” and “Find Out,” while Kaci, performing as Brook Rivers, recently debuted his EP, The Balancing Act. Rivers reflected on the transition, noting the difficulty of navigating the industry independently after the group’s dissolution. “It’s been super difficult but also super empowering, so I’m very proud to have managed to stick to my word & get my first project out this year,” he shared.
