Polo G’s “Rapstar” Debuts #1 on the Billboard Hot 100

Polo G has made it to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time. The Chicago emcee’s latest single “Rapstar” has made it to the top of the charts.

“Rapstar” is the top male streaming debut of 2021 and is the second largest streaming debut of the year with 56 million streams in the United States. The single debuts in top 5 on charts across the globe.

“Rapstar” also debuts at #1 on Spotify in the U.S. and #1 on the Apple Music global chart. Furthermore the track achieved the 2nd highest Spotify streaming debut of the year in the U.S. and earned over 353k in consumption first week, making it the third highest first week consumption debut of the year.

The Arrad directed music video trended on YouTube in over 30 markets globally including #1 in the UK, Canada, Denmark, Ireland, and New Zealand. The video trended #1 for 3 days in the U.S. upon release, stayed trending for over 5 days, and received over 20 million views in its first week.

“RAPSTAR” entered the Billboard Top 200 Song Consumption Chart at #1 in the U.S., #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, #1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart, #1 on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart, #1 on Rolling Stone Top 100 songs chart and #1 on Genius Top songs chart. Internationally, the single lands at #1 on the Official Trending Chart in the UK and is the highest new entry in the Official Singles Chart at #3, his second UK Top 5 entry matching the peak of his recent single “Patience” with KSI & Yungblud.
