Megan Thee Stallion Performs in Front of Crowd of 180,000 at Lollapalooza
While the climate is very controversial at the moment, Megan The Stallion can take a second to grab her flowers. In the midst of all the negativity in the industry, the Texas rapper managed to perform in front of over 180,000 people in Chicago’s Lollapalooza crowd. It is said that the rap queen had one of the largest and most energetic crowds that the festival has seen over the weekend.
The Hot Girl coach posted a video to her Instagram account to acknowledge her accomplishment. “Over 180,000 HOTTIES!!! They said we had thee biggest crowd of @Lollapalooza so far !!! Thank you Chicago,” she wrote followed by fire emojis.
Lollapalooza was just trending on social media after fans seemed to be concerned about a COVID outbreak due to such large crowds and little social distancing. A viral photo surfed the internet when fans compared the festival to an episode of Spongebob Squarepants depicting an overcrowded area.
As of Saturday, the festival decided to enforce mask mandates in an attempt to not spread the deadly COVID-19 disease. “Based on the latest advice from the Chicago Department of Public Health, Lollapalooza will require masks in any indoor spaces at Grant Park beginning Saturday. We encourage all fans attending the festival to bring a mask as they attend the final two days of the festival,” they posted on social media.
“It was another great day at the entry gates! Don’t forget you need to bring your printed proof of vaccination or proof of negative COVID-19 test every day! Keep it up Lolla fans!”
