Kanye West Officially Announces Donda Album Release Event for Aug. 5
Kanye West’s DONDA is almost upon us. The legendary superstar’s tenure as a resident of Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta is set to close as he has announced The DONDA Album Release party, set for August 5.
Tickets for the second event at Mercedez-Benz Stadium are set to go on sale Monday, August 2 at 10:00 am EST at Ticketmaster.com. Tickets for this event are $30.00 to $75.00. The DONDA album release event creative direction is by Demna Gvasalia.
Currently, the details for the release event, dubbed “Kanye West Presents the Donda Album Release,” are slim and there is no indication that the event will replicate the one of two weeks before.
Earlier this week, speculation of a second event occurred when the Donda’s Place Twitter account announced “Second Listening Party For Kanye West – Donda at The Mercedes-Benz Stadium August 5th/6th 8PM #DONDA.”
In the weeks since the first Kanye West appearance in Atlanta’s biggest building, Kanye has taken up residency. Reports state Kanye enjoyed the aura of the stadium so much during his first event that he decided to stick around, creating a bedroom in one of the locker rooms.
