Dr. Dre’s Son Scores First Major Film Role

According to a new report from TMZ, Dr. Dre’s son, Curtis Young, has decided to make his own name in the entertainment industry after he landed his very first starring role in a major, feature flm.

Young will play “Kong”, one of the four best friends’ older brothers in the new flick Charge It To The Game. Curtis’ character’s younger brother will be played by Snoop Dogg’s son Julius Broadus, while Swizz Beats’ son, Nasir Dean, will be playing one of the four best friends.

Curtis will also be scoring the film alongside Swizz’s son Nasir.

The 39-year-old actor did audition to play his father in Straight Outta Compton, but did not get the part, however, that did not deter him from pursuing his dream.

Charge It To The Game is slated for theaters in early 2022.
