Daniel Caesar's 'Never Enough' Earns RIAA Gold Certification

Daniel Caesar has achieved a significant milestone this month, with his third studio album, Never Enough, officially earning RIAA gold certification. This recognition signifies that the project has surpassed 500,000 equivalent units sold in the United States, marking a major commercial achievement for the artist. This is Caesar’s second project to receive an RIAA certification, following the enduring success of his platinum-selling debut, Freudian.

The accolades do not stop with the album itself. Two of the project’s most resonant tracks, the melancholic “Always” and the uplifting “Superpowers,” have also been certified platinum, each reaching the one-million-unit threshold. These latest honors arrive on the heels of a prolific February for the singer, during which he received nine separate RIAA updates, including a 7x platinum certification for his breakout hit, “Get You” featuring Kali Uchis.

Released on April 7, 2023, via Hollace Inc./Republic Records, Never Enough made a strong impact upon arrival, debuting at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart and securing a No. 14 position on the Billboard 200. The album showcases Caesar’s penchant for collaboration, featuring contributions from artists such as Ty Dolla $ign, Mustafa, serpentwithfeet, and Omar Apollo.

Reflecting on the creative intent behind the album, Caesar shared his aspirations with Apple Music, stating, “I want to make music that leads people somewhere as opposed to music that can pacify them or make them feel good. I want to make music that makes people want to change their life. Truly inspiring music.”

Looking ahead, Caesar is preparing to take his artistry to the global stage. On May 16, he will launch the Son of Spergy Tour in Singapore, with subsequent dates scheduled across Seoul, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. The North American leg of the tour is slated to begin in July, concluding in late August. This upcoming trek supports his latest project, Son of Spergy, which was released in October 2025 and features an eclectic mix of collaborators including Sampha, Bon Iver, Yebba, and Blood Orange.
