Cardi B Celebrates “Bodak Yellow” Hitting 1 Billion View on Youtube
“Bodak Yellow” is undeniably the biggest single of Cardi B’s career and it is also one of the biggest singles in rap history. Years after its release, “Bodak Yellow” is still running up the number, reaching 1 billion views on YouTube.
Cardi hit Twitter and celebrated the achievement, revealing the music video only took $15,000 to make.
“fifteen thousand dollars, A Billion views later !!!!!” Cardi wrote. “Wow that’s crazy ! Super dope. Thank you all for all the support through out the years….. Back to the lab. Love & Appreciate y’all.”
The video hit YouTube in June of 2017 and the song officially went diamond this past March. Salute to Cardi B.
