Brooklyn, NY-born, and Norfolk, VA-raised rapper-producer Kenny M. Alvarez, better known as The Infamous King of Positivity aka I.K.P has just released a new LP, 11:11 | eleven eleven.
With a catalog of 16 songs, I.K.P takes the listener on a profound journey analysing American society’s deeply rooted issues and realities, while displaying his sharp skills as an artist in perfect tune with his times, but also with his own essence as an individual.
To produce this album, I.K.P has worked with industry veterans and platinum-selling producers such as Christopher Starr of CSP Music Group and Ivan Corpening, better known as MNDCFT, a producer-engineer whose credits include work on Grammy-nominated SZA’s album Ctrl.
Known for being a strong advocate of the struggles of queer visibility, I.K.P drives inspiration from iconic figures like Missy Elliott, Nas and The Notorious B.I.G.
His poetic lyricism and infectious melodies are the secret formula allowing him to shine with intensity in each and every track listed on the album, always finding the right balance between smoothness and raw power, for a truly stunning result.
