Snoop Dogg And Dr. Dre Harken Back To The Prohibition Era In Hardy’s ‘Gin & Juice’ Short Film
Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre go noir in HARDY‘s short film Gin & Juice (Another Shot From Dr. Dre), a reimagining of the pair’s classic 1993 single.
The film, which is soundtracked by HARDY’s remake of the original, features Snoop and Dre playing liquor runners, as they are presented a new brand of gin to increase their returns. However, Dre suggests that juice be added to complete the concoction, resulting in a partnership that is consummated with the flicker of gunfire and a speedy getaway.

According to HARDY, the conceptualization and making of “Gin & Juice (Another Shot From Dr. Dre)” was a whirlwind experience, with the country star getting the opportunity to meet the two West Coast legends and work with them on set.
“The entire ‘Gin & Juice’ process has been a dream for me,” he gushed in a statement coinciding with the short film’s premiere. “I recorded the song and in a few short weeks I was on set with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. It didn’t feel real until I showed up and I saw the names on the trailers.

“I spent two days with them and I can honestly say they are two of the coolest, most genuine people and they made me feel right at home. I am so thankful for the experience and I’m looking forward to hanging with those guys again.”
Gin & Juice (Another Shot From Dr. Dre) features a guest appearance from actress Nicola Peltz Beckham and incorporates Snoop and Dre’s Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop canned cocktail line. Launched in partnership with Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits earlier this year, Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop comes in four flavors and is currently available nationally at retail locations.
“Together, we always try to create magic, we’re having fun being creative, and everything about this product is really us,” Dre said of he and his longtime collaborator’s dive into the spirits world at the time. Snoop echoed Dre’s sentiment, adding, “A lot of times people have been in a relationship for 30 years and can’t talk to each other, can’t hang out, so it’s just fun to be in a partnership with people that you actually love.”
