Quavo Towers Over Atlanta In “Himothy” Music Video

Quavo positions himself at the top of his city in the music video for “Himothy.” The confident anthem finds the Atlanta representative rapping the boastful track, commanding the microphone on top of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The visual proudly displays a “Long Live Takeoff” graphic alongside the stadium’s wall.

“In the same breath, I can show ’em how to scam American Express/ I’m tired of you talkin’ ’bout him, please, let my nephew rest/ Since ain’t nobody doin’ nothin’, sh*t, f**k it, all of ’em gettin’ pressed/ Shut it down, baby shut it down, Huncho, shut it down, it’s a mess,” raps the chart-topping artist over the Budda Beats-produced song.

“Himothy” comes as the 32-year-old’s first release of the year. It follows his 2023 solo effort Rocket Power, which featured posthumous rhymes from Takeoff, as well as Future, Young Thug, Hunxho, and BabyDrill across 18 tracks.

Rocket Power means a lot to me, it means everything to me,” shared the former Migos rapper.

“Just being fueled by my brother, Take, and just bottling all these emotions, all the pain, all the hard times, all the times I cried, all the times I made music just to pull up, and try to play songs and he’s not there… In the studio, I got this plaque of Take, and his eyes is on the side. So every time I record, I look over and see his eyes just looking at me.”
