Lux Beauregard Falls In Love With The World Falling Apart In “Fireworks”

Indie-pop singer-songwriter Lux Beauregard  has debuted her career in music with a sublime single titled “Fireworks,” a hypnotic song that showcases Lux’s unmatchable grace and talent. “Fireworks” is a single that represents Lux Beauregard’s 2020 year, one that made her realize the coexistence of beauty and tragedy. Incredibly painful in so many aspects, 2020 has set the world on fire, and Lux wanted her song to portray the complex feelings that arise when good things happen in the midst of atrocity.

“You can fall in love while the world is falling apart, though. Somehow, those emotions can exist together. I wanted to make a song that expressed that idea and sounded both as heartbroken and hopeful as 2020 has made me feel,” shared Lux speaking about the single’s core message.

An unusual artist, Beauregard drives inspiration from Renaissance and Rococo paintings, and experiences the perceptual phenomenon of synesthesia, leading her to experience a different kind of sensory stimulation than most of us, with a special connection between colors and sound happening naturally for her.

“Fireworks” has all the elements to become an indie-pop hit, from the poetry it contains to the epic instrumentals produced by Lux Beauregard.
