Ice Spice And Central Cee Are Toxic Together In “Did It First” Music Video
Ice Spice linked up with Central Cee for her “Do It First” music video.
The two rappers trade rhymes on the track about their willingness to get even in a relationship and not be bested by their lover. The visual, directed by Ice Spice, Edgar Estevez, and Nikita Vilchinski, finds the two Gen-Z stars in their element.
From a house party with shots and selfies to laying together in a pillow-filled bed, the rappers get fully into character.
“If he cheating, I’m doing him worse / No uno, I hit the reverse/ I ain’t trippin’, the grip in my purse / I don’t care, cuz he did it first,” rhymes the Bronx native in the repetitive hook.
“I’m selective with who I get with / Gyal on my phone tryna see who I slept with / She investigating, detective / Lucky for me, I deleted the message,” brags Central Cee in his guest verse.
“Did It First” is the fourth single from her upcoming debut album, following “Think U The Sh*t (Fart),” “Gimmie A Light,” and “Phat Butt.” The project, due on July 26 was confirmed by the “Deli” performer earlier this year after first teasing the album and title back in November 2023.
“It’s definitely gonna be a drill album,” Ice Spice detailed of Y2K in an interview earlier this year with TODAY.com. “But I have a lot of different sounding beats that I haven’t really been heard on much, so I’m excited for those more than anything. I really want to know what my fans think about these new-sounding songs.”
The Grammy-nominated musician kicks off her first headline tour Friday (July 12) with a performance at London’s Wireless Festival. She continues with several festival performances including Roskilde Festival in Denmark, Rolling Loud Europe in Austria, and more. The Y2K! World Tour wraps in Miami on Aug. 31 after a handful of United States shows.
