Future, Metro Boomin, The Weeknd Bring Out The Cyber Truck In “Young Metro” Music Video
Future, Metro Boomin, and The Weeknd are masked up and ready for action in the trippy “Young Metro” music video issued on Monday (March 25). Directed by Hidji World x Omar Jones, the visual showcases the trio posted up with a Tesla cyber truck where fantasy blends with reality.
At one point, Metro Boomin sits, getting his locs retwisted by a woman sitting in front of the vehicle. At another moment, a woman wearing a sleek, black mesh jumpsuit and stilettos lifts the cyber truck above her head, all while four ladies sit on the trunk and one looks out from the passenger side window.
In addition to the three artists featured on the song, Texas native Don Toliver makes a cameo in the music video.
“Young Metro” is the second track featured on Future and Metro Boomin’s collaborative album WE DON’T TRUST YOU. Released earlier this month, the 17-song album also features Travis Scott, Rick Ross, Playboi Carti, and Kendrick Lamar. Additionally, the late, legendary Prodigy of Mobb Deep can be heard throughout the album as the featured voice in the skits.
This is the second music video from WE DON’T TRUST YOU, following the visuals for “Type Sh*t” released last week. The album is one of two projects promised to fans by the rapper-producer duo, with the second set to release on April 12.
“I just try to wow myself and that’s a part of keeping that kid and that fan in me always alive, you know what I’m saying,” shared the St. Louis producer in a recent interview with Don Cannon per HipHopDX.“Everybody I work with, I always been fans of. Like even before I met Future, I was always a fan in high school.
