GloRilla Announces Debut Album ‘Glorious’ Following String Of Hit Singles And Projects
It’s a glorious time in GloRilla‘s career as she’s finally announced her debut album Glorious after consistently showing why she’s one of the hottest in the rap game right now.
The Memphis star delivered the music update via social media, showing a golden-grainy cover art of her beautiful profile. “GLORIOUS da album dropping 10/11,” she announced. “So grateful to be sharing this with y’all.”
Glo also promised “a little treat” for her fans tonight (Sept. 19) with new music. “I’m blessing y’all with HOLLON tonight at midnight. AYEEEEE presave now!!,” she added.
Glo has been running the entire summer with her infectious singles, “Yeah Glo!,” “Wanna Be” featuring Megan Thee Stallion and singles’ anthem, “TGIF.” Speaking of her forthcoming debut, she told VIBE back in July, “Gotti told me don’t get comfortable. Keep your foot on the gas. The moment you let up, everything will just go downhill… it’s about consistency and who can have longevity. That’s success.”
The debut follows her prior mixtapes Most Likely Up Next in 2019, and popular EP’s P Status in 2020 and Anyways, Life’s Great in 2022. The latter project included breakout hits “F.N.F.,” “Blessed,” and “Tomorrow 2” featuring her cousin Cardi B.
The 25-year-old also appeared on the CMG compilation albums Gangsta Art in 2022 and its sequel the following year. More recently, Big Glo dropped Ehhthang Ehhthang which helmed the aforementioned collaboration with Meg and saw a remix with the “Bodak Yellow” rhymer.
Fresh off the 2024 MTV VMAs stage, the CMG princess will be looking to add more award show performances and trophies to her resume as she is currently up for seven BET Hip-Hop awards this year.
Glo is nominated in the categories of: Hip-Hop Artist of The Year, Song of The Year, Hip-Hop Album of The Year, Best Collaboration, Best Live Performer, Hustler of The Year, and Impact Track.
As the anticipation builds for the arrival of Glorious on Oct. 11, fans can revisit GloRilla’s recent VMAs performance in the meantime below.
