Mary J. Blige and Giuseppe Zanotti Announce Boot Collaboration
After much anticipation, Mary J. Blige has finally unveiled a boot collaboration.
The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul has teamed with Giuseppe Zanotti for The Mary Boot.
“Everyone is always asking me “When will you come out with boots?” says Blige. “Well, here they are! I’ve always loved Giuseppe’s aesthetic and how he combines Italian sophistication with this edgy energy. We’re so excited to finally share these with the world.”
“Mary is a trailblazer—in music, in culture and in style,” adds Giuseppe. “She is confidence and glamour but there’s also a warmth and realness to her and I wanted to convey that incredible mix into ‘The Mary Boot.’”
Per Giuseppe, the limited-edition statement boots “are a slouchy, over-the-knee version in mirrored rose gold with a block heel.” The Mary Boot is available now for $1,295 in women’s sizes 6-12.
Blige shared the news at her third annual Strength of a Woman Festival and Summit in New York City, which took place over the weekend. In addition to Blige, the festival featured performances by Jill Scott, Muni Long, 50 Cent, and more.
In other news, Blige will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on Oct. 19. The 2024 class also includes Dionne Warwick, Kool & The Gang, A Tribe Called Quest, and others.
