Drake Says He Was Nervous Ahead of Yesterday’s Announcement to Charge the Three Officers in George Floyd Murder

Drake hit his Instagram story to detail his anxiety over the decision in regard to the officers charged in the killing of George Floyd.

Yesterday (June 3), the three arresting officers who were on the scene with Derek Chauvin were charged with aiding and abetting a murder. However, before the charges, the 6ix God was worried about what the announcement would be.

“The decision on the other officers will be announced this afternoon and it BETTER reflect the cries and outrage of the people…this is an opportunity for those in power who are used to protecting each other to show the nation they are being heard…pivotal moment in history is upon us and I’m praying for harsh JUSTICE…can’t say I’m not nervous though.”

While we do have charges set, that doesn’t necessarily equate to justice as court proceedings will have to occur.
