Tyla Stops Traffic In “Jump” Music Video Feat. Gunna And Skillibeng
Tyla takes it to the streets in her latest music video. Teaming up with Gunna and Skillibeng, the Amapian-pop star parties hard in the “Jump” visual. Directed by Nabil, the music video boasts Tyla’s dance skills and fun nature, as she and others enjoy an unforgettable good time.
The 22-year-old and her friends do not let a dramatic fight — where a man is thrown through a window — crash the function. From stopping traffic with rhythmic twerking to flexing in the club, the show must go on.
“They never had a pretty girl from Joburg, See me now, and that’s what they prefer,” sings the Grammy Award-winning singer on the dance-ready track.
“Jump” is one of 14 songs on Tyla’s self-titled debut album, issued earlier this year. The project also features Kelvin Momo, Tems, Becky G, Travis Scott, and her breakout hit record “Water.”
“It’s my introduction, so I just wanted it to be easy: Tyla. Plain and simple, letting people know I’m here,” she detailed of the work to Rolling Stone. “This is me. This is what I’m coming with. I really wanted to give a statement because I think that shows confidence, and I’m just ready. I’ve been working on this for so long. And even though people think I just [arrived] a few weeks ago, I’ve literally been working for very long on this. Self-titled was the only way for my first album.”
