Jacquees Drops New Quemix Of SZA’s “Snooze” And Usher’s “Good Good”
Jacquees has unleashed another Quemix on the streets.
The self-proclaimed “King” of R&B has remixed SZA’s “Snooze” and Usher’s “Good Good” in a surprise mashup. On the “Snooze” remix, he sang about doing all the things his lady’s ex didn’t do.
“I’ll tote that fire for you/ I’ll sponsor everything you need, no 9-5 for you/ Don’t want you on that s**t them h**s be on/ ‘Cause b***hes act like I don’t see ’em f**king everybody/ Don’t reach in your purse no more, baby, I got it/ Cussing, thugging, scheming/ Catch a body/ As long as you in the passenger seat, I’m still riding,” he cooed before flipping the beat into an instrumental of “Good Good.”
On the latter half of the nearly three-minute Quemix, Jacquees spoke on being able to take the girl out the hood, but you can never take the hood out of the girl. “If you broke, leave her alone, get your bread up/ I promise I got my s**t together/ Had it too bad ’cause she fed up/ She got good good, but she still hood,” he sang.
Earlier this year, the Atlanta native dropped Quemixes of Cash Cobain and Bay Swag’s “Fisherrr” which followed his 2023 remix of Coco Jones’ “ICU.” He first teased the “Snooze” Quemix after cancelling his upcoming 19-city tour.
On Instagram, he wrote a post with a wilted rose that read, “Exhausted. 19 celebration shows has been cancelled/postponed at this time…love y’all team Jacquees. You know we will get back together sooner than later… love y’all so much.”
The soon-to-be father concluded his post with the title of his new album, Mood 2.
