GloRilla Turns Up With Her Squad Again For “TGIF” Music Video
GloRilla and her squad are back with even more energy than they gave in her 2022 breakout hit “F.N.F (Let’s Go)” — and yes, they’re still twerking on headlights.
More polished, sure of herself, and simply “glowed up,” the Memphis star dropped the official music video for her newest summer anthem “TGIF.” The song first gained traction when Glo teased it on social media last week, leading thousands of users to use the snippet in their TikToks and IG Reels.
Now, she’s teamed up with directors Jerry Morka and Diesel Filmz to bring high-energy to the beach where she gets a mani and pedi, flaunts a cheeky bikini, and turns up on stage, the back of an ATV, and more.
“TGIF” can be considered the sequel to “F.N.F,” where she still prides herself on being single, outside, and doing whatever she likes without the pressures of a relationship.
She raps, “It’s 7 p.m. Friday, It’s 95 degrees/ I ain’t got no ni**a, and no ni**a ain’t got me/ I’m ’bout to show my a**, these ni**as love a freak/ How the f**k is that yo’ man, if he right here with me?”
The one-off single follows the April release of her latest album Ehhthang Ehhthang, which debuted and peaked at No. 18 on the Billboard 200 chart, moving 33,000 equivalent units in its first week.
“TGIF” currently hasn’t been announced as part of another EP or LP, but has been receiving positive reception from her supporters. And fans can most likely look forward to seeing Glo perform the track live on Megan Thee Stallion’s Hot Girl Summer Tour during the remaining 11 show dates.
In the meantime, take a look at GloRilla’s newest video for the infectious “TGIF” single above, which follows her collaborative banger, “Wanna Be (Remix)” with Thee Stallion and Cardi B.
