Doechii – “Anxiety”
Image Credit: 2025 Top Dawg Entertainment, LLC, under exclusive license to UMG Recordings, Inc. Doechii put a new spin on “Anxiety,” a track she appeared on alongside Sleepy Hallow a few years ago. While the rising TDE star can more than hold her own and has some fun wordplay, this track was a bit better when the variation came with both her and Hallow on the record.
Nonetheless, the flip of Gotye’s “Somebody I Used To Know” still hits. The Tampa rapper displays her versatility well, and the structure of the song, specifically the harmonies and layering, is an appreciated detail. Not to mention the passionate vocal runs on the bridge. – Armon Sadler

Turbo & Gunna – “Classy Girl”
Image Credit: 300 Entertainment Gunna may still be the subject of snitch jokes and not have the favor of his old friends, but he is focused on the one thing that allows a star to keep being a star: the women. “Classy Girl,” produced by Turbo, is a bouncy “getting ready” anthem.
This gets said about a lot of music in this era, but this record is primed to appear in many TikToks whether women are doing GRWM, Day In The Life, or any video catered toward being a #contentcreator.
It is also not the usual type of production the Atlanta star performs over, so this track is as good for the women as it is for his artistic progression. That’s two victories. – Armon Sadler

GELO Featuring GloRilla – “Can You Please”
Image Credit: LiAngelo Ball (G3) PS/Def Jam GELO is here to prove that he isn’t a one-hit wonder. “Tweaker” took over, and he leaned into that vintage sound even further on “Can You Please.”
In some ways, this new song is a carbon copy of his 2025 breakthrough hit, with the elongated notes, stacks, and cadence. However, the addition of GloRilla, arguably the hottest rapper in the country, allows this record to stand on its own.
She brings her raw, vulgar energy and utilizes some autotune to start off her verse. This is as much as showcase for Glo as it is for GELO, and they mesh well. – AS

Icewear Vezzo Featuring Big Sean & Skilla Baby – “Worth Something”
Image Credit: ℗ 2025 Iced Up Records Icewear Vezzo is locked into his style and signature sound. “Worth Something” is the continuation of him showing he is a system player in the best way. Big Sean and Skilla Baby joined him on the energetic beat, loaded with hi-hats and drums.
They also bring three different voices, allowing the song to not get boring or linear across its almost four minutes. Sean especially shows out, fitting in the beat’s pockets better than a wallet and utilizing his usual strong wordplay.
“Worth Something” is a fun song but also a strong affirmation. If you don’t know your value, how can you expect anyone else to? – AS

Lady London – “Is You Krazy?”
Image Credit: High Standardz/Def Jam Lady London links up with Hitmaka for “Is You Krazy?” and it’s a bit of a shock. The triumphant horns that open the record descend into a seductive, drum-heavy beat and her sultry vocals mesh with it well.
London has always been a lyricist who has deserved more love and attention, and she shows it here without sacrificing quality songmaking and still sounding endearing. The flow switches, cadence flips, and vocal variations all come together very well here.
It has been two years since her last album, but a record like this warrants excitement for what is to come. Don’t keep us waiting too long, Lady London. – AS
