Cardi B Is “Getting Better And Betterer” In “Enough (Miami)” Music Video
Cardi B is standing solo on a bold new track. In “Enough (Miami),” the mother of two is not backing down from opposition. The song comes after a viral snippet made rounds across social media.
In the visual, directed by Patience Harding, the Bronx native experiments with various fashion and beauty looks, flaunting her curvy physique and rapping the song’s swaggering lyrics. In one scene, the 31-year-old sports a short, burgundy, pixy haircut and long fur coat over a bikini. This style is nearly the opposite of another, where the Grammy Award-winning rapper commands the camera in a pierced face, grey colored contacts, and a revealing all-black knit bodysuit.
“Opps linkin’ up, I’m like, ‘What in the f**k?’/ If you scared then just say that, h*e, enough is enough/ They was just in my DMs, ain’t no trustin’ these sluts/ I’m about to call up Diamond, bi**h, knuck if you buck,” repeats the hook, referencing Crime Mob’s 2004 ruckus anthem.
“Enough (Miami)” follows the release of “Like What (Freestyle)” issued earlier this month. The songs are similar in theme and visuals, with the first drop also featuring a stylish video, directed by Offset. Both songs come after her 2023 “Bongos” collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, teasing a potential new project in the works.
Cardi B’s last full-length project came in 2018 with her debut album Invasion Of Privacy.
Last year, the “WAP” performer gave Bardi Gang an update on the progress of her sophomore effort during an interview with Vogue México y Latinoamérica.
“So stay tuned because it will be released very soon,” she explained, via a translated copy of the conversation. “I also have plans in the world of cinema. In fact, I have plans to do everything I can: fashion, branding, I want to do it all, honey.”
