B.O.B Returns With “Steve Harvey” Music Video
B.O.B. has released the colorful music video for his latest track, “Steve Harvey.”
The single marks the rapper’s first release of the year, and features an interpolation of 2 Live Crew’s 1995 track “Hoochie Mama.”
“Ni**as ask where B.O.B been at, well I’ll tell you where I been/Not on Epstein’s island, at home not d**k riding,” raps the Georgia native to kick off the track. “I ain’t no thug, but I’m thuggin’/they say don’t judge, but I’m judgin’/married to the game, I’m her husband.”
In the visual, directed by Kristin Daniel and Stephen Payne, the rapper and a crew of dancers take over a posh lounge with choreographed chaos. B.O.B. even joins the dancers in their synchronized movements. The video is enhanced by various lighting effects, luxury aesthetics, and vibrant costuming.
“Steve Harvey” is promised on a forthcoming album Space Time. The project follows B.O.B.’s 2023 instrumental release A Town Full of Nowhere. Issued in April of last year, VIBE’s Hip-Hop reporter Preezy Brown described the work as a “succession of soothing soundscapes for easy listening.”
He also released Neon Lightz, earlier that same year. With seven songs, it was released first on Patreon before the musician shared the album to streaming platforms.
Before the aforementioned projects, B.O.B. released Better Than Drugs in 2022. Issued in August of that year, the album includes Baby Tate, Tech N9ne, Ray Moon, Black Boe, Money Mu, and more. Take a listen to the album below and watch B.O.B.’s video for “Steve Harvey” above.
