Louis York Announces New Album ‘The Heart of the Matter,’ Shares ‘I Found a Home’
The hit-making duo Louis York has announced their third studio album, ‘The Heart of the Matter,’ arriving this November, alongside the release of their new single, ‘I Found a Home.’
The acclaimed duo Louis York, comprised of hit-makers Claude Kelly and Chuck Harmony, has officially announced their third studio album, The Heart of the Matter. The project is set for release on November 6 via their label, Weirdo Workshop.
To celebrate the announcement, the duo has shared the album’s lead single, “I Found a Home.” The track, written and produced by the pair with additional instrumentation from Brian Frasier-Moore, Nathan Chapman, and Kyle Bolden, serves as a soulful tribute to their adopted home of Nashville. The song reflects on the journey of the New York and St. Louis natives as they settled into the vibrant musical landscape of Music City.
Reflecting on the creative process, Chuck Harmony noted the evolution of their sound. “We’ve dabbled in almost every genre of music as producers and songwriters, but once you sit down to write something for yourself, it can take awhile to find your true voice,” he explained. “For us, it was a 10-year process to fully understand that Louis York is two songwriters, two singers, two producers, two creative people who really have something to say about music, spirituality, and manhood. In the past, maybe we were creating music from the head. This time, we were creating from the heart… and that could have only happened in Nashville.”

The Heart of the Matter follows their 2024 collaborative project, Songs With Friends, which featured an array of notable artists including Anthony Hamilton, Tamia, PJ Morton, and Jessie J. The duo continues to be a powerhouse in the industry, balancing their own artistry with high-profile production work for legends like Whitney Houston, Rihanna, and Bruno Mars.
