No. 1: “Fallin’” – Chris Brown feat. Leon Thomas (LW: 2)
THE BRIEF: Chris Brown’s “Fallin’,” featuring Leon Thomas, becomes his eighth No. 1 on Billboard’s adult r&b airplay chart. All eight of his chart-toppers were achieved in this decade, starting with the Drake-assisted “No Guidance.” “Fallin’” is his first leader since “It Depends” with Bryson Tiller, which ruled for four weeks in November 2025. Both songs are lifted from his 12th album, BROWN, which dropped in May. As for Thomas, “Fallin’” is his second visit to the top, following his smash hit “Mutt,” which topped this chart in May 2025.
R&B Streaming Songs
No. 1: “Billie Jean” – Michael Jackson (LW: 1)
THE BRIEF: Michael Jackson’s 1983 hit “Billie Jean” spends a 12th consecutive week at No. 1 on the R&B Streaming Songs chart. It’s the King of Pop’s longest-running No. 1 on this chart, bolstered by continued interest following the release of the blockbuster biopic Michael.
Hot R&B Songs
No. 1: “I Just Might” – Bruno Mars (LW: 1)
CHART NOTE: Steve Lacy lands two entries on the Hot R&B Songs chart this week. “Doom” and “Pure Colour” are lifted from his third solo album, Oh yeah?
Top R&B Albums
No. 1: Thriller – Michael Jackson (LW: 1)
CHART NOTE: Steve Lacy’s third solo album Oh yeah? debuts at No. 3 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart. The project sold 33,709 copies in its first week. Oh yeah? is his second top 10 on this chart, following 2022’s Gemini Rights.
