Drake And PARTYNEXTDOOR Share 19 Fan-Created “Somebody Loves Me” Music Videos

Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR stayed true to their word. The duo shared 19 fan-created music videos for their cult-favorite record, “Somebody Loves Me.”

The DrakeRelated Instagram page announced that the videos were available to watch on their site on Wednesday (Aug. 27). Each visual has an individual slide on the site, with an unlisted YouTube video embedded on the page, the director’s name, and a description of their visual.

The directors tapped into their creativity, with some leaning into AI, others using anime, and various other unique filming methods. “CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE CREATORS SELECTED,” the website reads. “OUR FINALISTS REPRESENT A DIVERSE RANGE OF EXPERIENCE LEVELS, AS WE WERE
COMMITTED TO GIVING NEW AND EMERGING DIRECTORS – INCLUDING A FEW FIRST-TIME
DIRECTORS – THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHOWCASE THEIR TALENT.” Check out a teaser of multiple videos below, and all of the fan-created visuals here.

“Somebody Loves Me” has been one of the more popular records on Drizzy and PND’s February joint album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U. While “Gimme A Hug” and “Nokia” have reached higher charting heights, peaking at No. 6 and No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, respectively, “Somebody Loves Me” has been a cultural favorite that has felt bigger than charts based on countless social media clips of the reception it has gotten at events. Notably, the record peaked at No. 30 on the Hot 100 and stayed on the charts for 20 weeks.

This past May, the Toronto superstar and Kai Cenat announced that they would be hosting a giveaway where fans could submit ideas for the song’s visual and winners would get paid to bring them to life. The “What Did I Miss?” artist was initially supposed to join Cenat on a livestream to go through submissions, but it was later cancelled.

The multi-time Grammy winner is now fully on the road to his forthcoming LP, ICEMAN. This past July, he shared two singles: “What Did I Miss?” and “Which One” featuring Central Cee. However, these weren’t just traditional singles releases; he hosted livestreams where he teased other music and added more lore to the world of ICEMAN. Check out “ICEMAN Episode 1” and “ICEMAN Episode 2” below.
