Whether you’re need of some flirty fun, a stripped-down seduction, or need to bare your soul, declare your confessions first and soundtrack them later. Trust us, you’ll have all of these in constant rotation.
Alex Isley – “Hands (Stripped Down)”
Alex Isley’s recent release under her new deal with Free Lunch/Warner Records already has na refreshing remix. Camper and Isley stripped down “Hands” into a soothing, piano-laced ballad, giving it a jazz club feel.
When speakign on the initial version, Isley shared, “There’s so much power in a touch that’s rooted in love and affection. The memory of it can remind you how much it’s really worth. This is an ode to really being in the moment with your person.”
“Hands” is the lead single from her forthcoming EP, When…, set to arrive in April.
JayDon – “I’ll Be Good”
Child star JD McCrary is now all grown up and going by JayDon. The young prodigy recently signed to Usher and L.A. Reid’s label, mega, and released his new single, “I’ll Be Good.”
Produced by Sweata and written by JayDon himself along with co-writers Levens Jean and Vanessa Wood, “I’ll Be Good” is a midtempo R&B tune that samples Usher’s “How Do I Say.” It’s an honest, reflective track where JayDon opens up about his former toxic behavior and his desire for forgiveness.
“I’ll Be Good” is his third single, following “Ah! Ah!” ft. 310babii and “Lullaby” ft. Paradise. All three records will appear on his new project, Me, My Songs and I.
SHERIE – YOURS DEEPLY
SHERIE is a underrated force in this industry, but YOURS DEEPLY should wake a few folks up.
The eight-track EP is her story in her words. It’s enchanting and earnest.
Per the singer and violinist, she explained, “‘Yours Deeply’ is inspired by the familiar sign-off ‘Yours Sincerely,’ but for me, it’s more than just a phrase. It’s a reflection of my own journey—writing a letter to myself, looking back at the past, and confronting the complexities that shaped me. As I navigate my own story, this project becomes a space where I explore both the weight of what’s behind me and all of what lies ahead. I hope this project not only reveals my own journey toward strength and resilience but also invites everyone to find and remember their own.”
Standout tracks include “FEELS & FEARS,” “Morning Backstreets,” and “Deeply.”
No Guidnce – Confessions of a Loverboy
No Guidnce is back. Now comprised of Zeekay, Eshan, Josh, and Kaci, the British quartet’s new EP—share their new EP, Confessions of a Loverboy.
They merge their contemporary flair with influences similar to *NSYNC and B2K on the five-track project that oozes love and optimism.
Of the new focus track, “Lovers To Enemies,” the group shared, “[It] tells the story of a relationship turning sour as the partners use toxic methods to compete for each other’s attention. This is a cool song for us as it’s heavily inspired by the late 90s and early 2000s hip-hop R&B sound that would be played in the clubs, which makes it feel like a real boyband anthem.”
Zyah Belle, Ben Reilly – “About Time”
Zyah Belle returns with her newest single, “About Time,” and what a fitting title. The groovy anthem is about embracing a moment that’s long overdue.
“‘About Time’ is the soundtrack to the moment you finally make your move,” Belle notes. “Picture this: you’re at a party, and there’s that person you always seem to run into. The tension is electric, the vibes are undeniable, but nothing’s ever happened… until now. Fueled by a little liquid courage and a lot of anticipation, this song is about breaking the ice and taking that chance. It’s flirty, fun, and full of that ‘butterflies in your stomach’ energy.”
This release follows her recent singles, “LYIN” and “1-800-Heartbreak,” all of which will appear on her next EP.
Jordyn Simone – REMEMBER WHEN? (Deluxe)
Jordyn Simone’s debut EP is still on repeat and now she’s back with the deluxe edition. Still raw yet powerful, the project now has two new tracks from Gemaine and Ben Reilly.
Described as a series of love letters to women, she collaborated with the men of R&B— Lekan, TA Thomas, Reggie Becton, Phabo, and more—to share the male perspective on the stories she’s unraveling. For Jordyn, she “wanted to invite listeners into the honest, sometimes messy conversation between two sides of love,” noting that, “the male voices on this EP don’t just feature—they complete the story.”
Luna Elle – “AMPM”
Luna Elle’s “AMPM” is utterly hypnotizing that sings about the consuming need for love. She immediately invites listeners into a captivating world where passion takes over and time isn’t a concern.
“This song is about that undeniable pull toward someone, where time doesn’t matter—you want them every hour of the day,” Luna states of the ballad. “I’m embracing my ‘lover girl’ era—letting love in without overcomplication.”
Luna is definitely one to watch, so pay attention.
