Doja Cat Hints New Album With Mysterious Track List

Fresh off the success of her album Scarlet, Doja Cat seems to be ready to drop another project. But this time, she’s keeping things cryptic.

On Monday (Nov. 11), the “Paint The Town Red” singer/rapper took to her Instagram Stories to casually post a list of unrelated, unnumbered song titles, leaving fans puzzled. The titles didn’t match any of her previous releases, which could only mean one thing: she’s hinting at a new album.

Pop Crave grabbed a screenshot of her post, which shared 13 songs—enough for a full album. Titles included words and phrases like “Crack,” “Break My Heart,” “Cards,” “Acts of Service,” “Turn the Lights,” “Make It Up,” “Take Me Dancing,” “Ain’t News,” “Wood Hally,” “Slow Burn,” and “Did I Lie.”

As always, Doja offered little to no context for the unnamed tracklist, but did post, “Songs are in no particular order. Starred my favorites,” on X.

The Grammy-winner first started dropping hints at what would be her fifth studio album last month when she simply tweeted, “Album.” And now it seems to be in the works, if not finished.

For her last album, Doja admitted that she was in an “angry place” while recording it, and chose to let the music do the talking with little to no promo. The 29-year-old also shared that Scarlet symbolized her standing up for herself and her vision while putting her “slept-on” rap skills at the forefront.

“It’s sort of my ‘Why I oughta!’ moment of squaring up with everyone and defending myself, telling myself that I’m here for me, and not just for everybody else’s enjoyment,” she told Jack Harlow in an interview for Present Space.

Although the Scarlet deluxe album, Scarlet 2 CLAUDE, was an undeniable masterpiece filled with some of Doja’s best lyricism, flow, and emotional expression, it didn’t snag any 2025 Grammy nominations. Despite a nom, Doja did make history this month and is now the most Platinum-certified female rapper in Billboard history.

Doja now has 13 platinum records under her belt, with her latest additions being: “Rules,” “Say So,” “Juicy” and “Streets.” As the “Agora Hills” star has yet to announce a release date for a new project, it’s clear Doja knows how to rev up the anticipation for whatever she does next.
