Chris Brown’s ‘Sensational’ Reaches No. 1 at Urban Radio
Chris Brown has a new radio hit. His Afrobeats-tinged single “Sensational,” featuring Davido and Lojay, moves to No. 1 at urban radio this week.
According to Mediabase, the DJ Hardwerk-produced track received 760 more spins this week, totaling 5,731 for an audience impression of 14 million.
On Billboard, “Sensational” also advances to No. 1 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart. It’s Brown’s 19th leader on this chart, where he remains the artist with the third-most No. 1s, following Drake (45) and Lil Wayne (20).
“Sensational” is the second single from Brown’s 11th album, 11:11. It was released as the follow-up to the Grammy-nominated “Summer Too Hot,” which peaked at No. 1 at rhythmic radio.
On April 11, Brown will release a deluxe edition of 11:11, which includes 13 new tracks. The expanded project will host features from Bryson Tiller, Davido, Joyner Lucas, Tee Grizzley and more.
Before 11:11 (Deluxe) arrives, Brown will headline the 2024 Dreamville Festival with SZA in Raleigh, North Carolina. This summer, Brown will kick off his 11:11 Tour with special guests Muni Long and Ayra Starr.
