Joyner Lucas Responds to Eminem Naming Him Among List of Greatest Rappers of All Time

Gary Maurice, better known as his stage name, Joyner Lucas is a rapper known for his poetic style from Worcester, Massachusetts. Lucas is known for his many different approaches to music in the industry.

It seems as though the rapper has made his mark in the industry after hip-hop heavyweight, Eminem has named him amongst a list of the legend’s greatest rappers of all time. “For me, in no particular order… Toss up between Wayne, Pac, Royce, jay, redman, treach, g. rap, biggie, & king crook,” The Slim Shady rapper wrote on Twitter before adding onto his list. “Plus redman, LL, nas, joyner, kendrick, cole, andre, rakim, kane…”

Once news broke to Joyner Lucas that he was among a list of greats. He was ecstatic to react to the news on social media. “If you played ball and studied Michael Jordan as the greatest, and then Michael Jordan name drops you as one of the greatest ball players of all time. That’s how this feels to me,” the “I’m Not a Racist” rapper wrote on his Instagram.

Joyner Lucas has recently released his debut studio album, ADHD in March of 2020 by his self owned label, Twenty Nine Music Group.
