Victoria Monét’s ‘Alright’ Debuts on Billboard’s Rhythmic Airplay Chart
Victoria Monét is looking to take over another Billboard chart. Her latest single, “Alright,” lands on the Rhythmic Airplay chart this week.
The Kaytranada-produced bop opens at No. 36 on the chart, which is led by Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby.”
It’s Monét’s second solo entry on the Rhythmic Airplay chart and her third overall. Her previous visits include “On My Mama” (No. 2 peak) and MGK’s (formerly Machine Gun Kelly)”A Little More,” which peaked at No. 38.
At rhythmic radio this week, “Alright” rises from No. 38 to No. 31, with 642 spins, a gain of 276 spins since last week. In February, Monét topped rhythmic radio for the first time with her hit “On My Mama.”

Circling back to “Alright,” the pulsating banger re-enters Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart at No. 19. It previously peaked at No. 13 in September 2023.
Elsewhere on Billboard, “Alright” debuts at No. 39 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, tallying Monét’s second entry. Monét’s “On My Mama” spent two weeks at No. 1 on this chart last November.
Victoria Monét performed “Alright” at the 2024 BET Awards in June. The enthralling performance was inspired by her much-talked-about video, choreographed by Sean Bankhead. (Monét won two awards at the BET Awards, including Video of the Year for “On My Mama.”)
“‘Alright’ is about liberation and freedom at its core! This video is a visual presentation of that sentiment through freedom of movement and fluidity between masculine and feminine energy,” explained Monét.

“Alright” is lifted from Monét’s Grammy-winning debut album, Jaguar II. Released Aug. 25, 2023, via RCA Records, Jaguar II debuted at No. 6 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart and No. 60 on the Billboard 200.
