Usher’s ‘Rendezvous in Paris’ Concert Film Is Coming to Theaters
Trafalgar Releasing and Sony Music Vision have announced Usher: Rendezvous in Paris will hit theaters worldwide for a limited run beginning Sept. 12.
According to the logline, the concert film “incorporates the essence of his landmark cultural phenomenon Vegas residencies into a seductive French touch confession.”
It further reads, “The film features chart-topping hits, including ‘Yeah!’ ‘My Boo,’ ‘Love In This Club’ and more from Usher’s 30-year career, performed with never-before-seen costumes and state-of-the-art lighting and special effects.”
Usher: Rendezvous in Paris was filmed during his residency last fall at La Seine Musicale, where the R&B superstar performed eight sold-out shows.
According to press materials, the concert movie will screen from Sept. 12-15 in 2,000 theaters worldwide, including in nearly 1,000 U.S. theaters. The film will play at AMC and ODEON locations, as well as other locations globally.

“Paris was a special experience for me as an entertainer and for my fans,” says Usher. “I hope those who weren’t able to make it in person get to experience how special it was. As for those of you who were, I hope you experience the show and see what it takes to get there through a different lens.”
Adam Aron, chairman and CEO of AMC Theatres, adds, “For 30 years, Usher has captivated and entertained audiences through his music and concerts. Just a few months ago, he drew rave reviews for his stunning performance in front of 129 million people during the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Bringing his unparalleled concert experience to movie theatres for his fans around the world is a perfect fit for AMC Theatres Distribution.”
Trafalgar‘s CEO Marc Allenby comments, “We are excited to continue our partnership with Sony Music Vision and AMC Theatres Distribution to bring the energy of Usher to movie theater audiences around the world. He is the perfect artist to support our shared vision of creating global experiences around concert films for artists that advance the evolution of the cinema into venues for all forms of entertainment.”
Usher: Rendezvous in Paris was directed by Anthony Mandler, who produced it with Usher and Ron Laffitte.
Usher’s residency, Rendez-Vouz Á Paris, ran from Sept. 24-Oct. 5, 2023. Following the eight-show affair, he returned to Las Vegas to finish off his stint at Dolby Live at Park MGM, which concluded in early December. Usher performed over 100 sold-out shows at his My Way: The Las Vegas Residency, which spanned two years.
Usher, who landed an Emmy nomination for his Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show, will kick off his Past Present Future Tour on Aug. 14 in Atlanta.
The R&B icon will perform across North America, playing multiple nights in major cities such as Washington, D.C., Boston, Toronto, Los Angeles, and Dallas. The first leg of the tour wraps up Nov. 30 after three back-to-back shows in Houston.
On April 1, 2025, Usher will launch the European leg of the Past Present Future Tour in London. He will perform three shows before traveling to Paris, Amsterdam, and Berlin. He will return to London, where he will perform two shows, concluding the tour on May 7.
Usher’s upcoming extensive tour will support his ninth album, Coming Home, released in February via mega/gamma. The album, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, is home to the No. 1 hit “Good Good” featuring Summer Walker and 21 Savage. The song hit No. 1 on R&B radio, rhythmic radio, and on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart.
Coming Home also includes the H.E.R.-assisted duet, “Risk It All,” which also topped the Adult R&B Airplay chart.
