Usher’s ‘Good Good’ Matches Top 10 Record on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay Chart
Usher continues to make history 30 years into his career.
The R&B megastar is now the fourth male artist to spend a total of 49 weeks in the top 10 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart as a lead act.
“Good Good,” featuring Summer Walker and 21 Savage, remains at No. 2 in its 58th week on the chart dated Sept. 21.
Of those weeks, the track produced by Mel & Mus has been inside the top 10 since it entered at No. 9 during the week of Oct. 14, 2023.
“Good Good” joins an exclusive group of songs that have resided in the Adult R&B Airplay top 10 for at least 49 weeks. Usher ties with Tyrese, The Weeknd, and Miguel, who had similar runs in the 2010s.
Luther Vandross set a record with 63 weeks in the top 10 for “Think About You” from his final album, Dance with My Father, while Maxwell and Kem followed closely with 62 weeks each.

Returning back to “Good Good,” the award-winning collaboration reached No. 1 on the chart dated Nov. 18, 2023, and stayed there for six weeks.
The lead single from Usher’s Coming Home album became his ninth chart-topping hit, Walker’s third, and 21 Savage’s first.
“Good Good” is Usher’s second-longest running No. 1 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart, following “Here I Stand” with seven weeks.
Usher’s chart accolades for “Good Good” are just as impressive elsewhere on Billboard and at radio. The song held the top position on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay for two weeks each and also topped the R&B Digital Song Sales chart for three weeks.
Furthermore, “Good Good” reached No. 1 on three different radio formats powered by Mediabase, including R&B, rhythmic, and urban. On the former chart, the song holds the No. 2 position this week with 1,923 plays and a total audience of over nine million.
As mentioned previously, “Good Good” was released on Aug. 4, 2023, as the first official single from Usher’s ninth album, Coming Home, which came out in February 2024.
The No. 1 R&B record has an expanded edition called Coming Home (Deluxe), which includes two new tracks.
Usher is supporting Coming Home on the North American leg of his Past Present Future Tour, which concludes Dec. 12. The European leg of the Past Present Future Tour will begin in April 2025.
