Tyrese Launches Beautiful Pain Home Fragrance Collection
Singer and actor Tyrese Gibson has teamed with Wick and Glow Candle Company to launch a home fragrance collection inspired by his seventh album, Beautiful Pain.
The limited-edition Beautiful Pain Collection includes three 10 oz, double-wicked coconut soy candles with a 60-hour burn time and three 4 oz room sprays.
The candles and room sprays are available in the following scents: “Wildflower” (gardenia and palm), “Rescue” (Cashmere, musk and oud), and “Beautiful Pain” (Black Sea and lavender).
According to the product’s website, “Wildflower,” inspired by Tyrese’s No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart, is “a fresh floral fragrance that adds warmth to your space.”
“Rescue,” which also includes scent notes of bergamot, amber, and violet, “weaves warmth and sophistication into your space, perfect for moments of relaxation and unwinding.” It’s fitting for a relaxed and calming vibe.
“Beautiful Pain,” which also has notes of aqua, petrichor and sandalwood, “blends the deep, calming notes of Black Sea with the gentle fragrance of lavender, creating a tranquil ambiance perfect for winding down.”
Speaking on his new collection, Tyrese shares, “I have been a candle lover for years. They are a part of my everyday life and self-care. So, the ability to collaborate with Wick and Glow, a music-centric candle company that wanted to create a line inspired by my album, is a dream.”
He continues, “Each of these scents is not only luxuriously fragranced and personally curated by me, but is also designed to help you create the perfect grown and sexy vibe. The candles carry a QR code that links the candle to the album and burns for over 50 hours.”
The candles are $29.99 each and can be paired with a matching room spray for $39.99. Additionally, the full Beautiful Pain Candle Collection is $79.99, the home spray set is $40, and the Beautiful Pain Candle and Room Spray Collection is $124.99. The latter option comes with all three candles and all three room sprays.
According to press materials, Tyrese and Wick and Glow Candle Company plan to continue their partnership, with more products launching in early 2025.
Wick and Glow is a Black and veteran-owned woman-led luxury candle company “dedicated to creating handcrafted, non-toxic, and vegan coconut and soy wax candles, room sprays, wax melts, and carpet refreshers inspired by R&B music.”
Tyrese released his album Beautiful Pain on Aug. 30 via Voltron Records/Create Music Group.
The album was preceded by the singles “Love Transaction,” “Don’t Think You Ever Loved Me,” and “Wildflower.” The latter song, a cover of Skylark’s 1972 classic, has spent two weeks atop the Adult R&B Airplay chart so far.
