Tekashi 6ix9ine Pushes New Release Back to June 5th
If you want new music from Tekashi 6ix9ine, you will have to wait another week. The colorful rapper took to his Instagram to announce yet another push back. He initially planned and announced a May 22nd drop for his “GOOBA” follow-up. 6ix9ine informed his fans on why the release needed another week while using an Instagram lipstick filter.
“I want to apologize because I gotta push it back,” said the Bushwick rapper. “It just won’t be ready in time. “I’m sorry.”
Although it will be another week before fans get new music, 6ix9ine has celebrated his early success since being released. “GOOBA” debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100 charts at No. 3 and was recently certified gold. In addition to his continued music success, he has resumed his title the king of internet trolling.
His latest victim was G Herbo, where he alleged that the Chicago rapper has herpes. It all started after the “PTSD” rapper commented on whether or not 6ix9ine beat his case in regards to Charlamagne Tha God’s raunchy statement in 2018. After a number of back and forths, Tekashi 6ix9ine promised to delete his Instagram if fans can find a platinum record from Swervo. According to the Chicago rapper, he didn’t need an RIAA certification. Instead, he went platinum in the streets. 6ix9ine continued to troll him after “GOOBA” was certified gold earlier this week. G Herbo’s “PTSD” also went gold earlier this month.
