Elsewhere on Billboard, “Notice Me” is No. 10 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart, marking Braxton’s second top 10 out of 16 entries. It’s her first top 10 in over a decade, following 2012’s “Love and War,” which peaked at No. 3.

Braxton surprise-released “Notice Me” on March 15 to celebrate her birthday (March 17). She co-wrote the emotional track, which reached No. 1 on iTunes R&B/Soul chart, with Amber Dion Smith, Donald Sales and Nyerere Davidson.

Braxton shared a heartfelt message about what the success of “Notice Me” means to her.

“Thank you Traci. Let me tell y’all a story. I met @nyethesongwrita through my beautiful sister Traci. She believed in him so much. They were like lashawn and myself very good friends. How we connected was through @wardellmalloy in 2020 who at the time didn’t know the connection and neither did I,” Braxton wrote on Instagram.

She continued, “To make a long story short, @nyethesongwrita and I have written dozens of songs together including our first #2 last year “changed” and our first #1 this year notice me… Traci.. today is your birthday and I’m mad at the entire world! But you always show up to let me know that you are still here. I love you and miss you sooooooo much. Happy heavenly Birthday”
