Spectacular Comes Back for the Last Laugh In Tory Lanez Back and Forth
Some fans still have their mouths open in shock after learning that Akon has done a remix with Tekashi 69. The two celebrities collaborated for “Locked Up Part 2,” which is a remix of “Locked Up,” which was the lead single from the hip-hop heavyweight’s 2004 album, Trouble.
Amongst the crowd of people in disbelief, was singer Tory Lanez who apparently didn’t get cleared to use the song for himself. “So what y’all telling me is …. Akon gave the #LockedUpRemix / SAMPLE to someone else !?!?? And not me?!????” the singer wrote on Twitter.
Pretty Ricky’s Spectacular stepped into the discussion to encourage the rapper to just steal the song… like he has (allegedly) done with other songs in the past. “@torylanez you should just stole it like you did Grind On Me and Your Body. Why stop now ….. Just keeping it 2 Virgils,” said the boyband member.
“STOLE WHAT ??!? Actually I BOUGHT the rights from whoever signed u and publishes your music,” Tory replied. “But I guess you weren’t apart of that conversation. Go stare in someone eyes and rub on someone thighs and leave me outta this one… Goodnight my black brother,” the Canadian singer responded.
Spectacular had to get the last laugh, as the singer responded, “Ever since you got that new hairline, you been acting different. “Stop with the [cap]. Last time I checked, I owned my own masters. What type of bootleg business you running. You acting like Virgil but not keeping it 2 Virgils,” the penned along with laughing emojis.
