Saint Harison Announces New EP ‘Ghosted,’ Shares ‘Glass Houses’
British singer Saint Harison revealed his second EP, Ghosted, will release May 29 via Platoon.
Regarding the follow-up to 2022’s Lost a Friend, Harison said, “I started writing this next project pretty much immediately after Lost a Friend came out and it feels surreal that this moment has finally come. It’s been so important to me to make something that I can love forever and will make me proud for many years to come.”
He continued, “I’ve been able to work with some creatives on this project that 6 years ago I would have cried if they looked in my direction. I can’t wait for you to hear the late nights, the tears, the overthinking, the healing, the spirals and the growth. It’s the most honest I’ve ever been in my music. Every track feels like a piece of a chapter I had to live through in order to write it.”
Ghosted will include the previously shared title track, “Bed” and the latest offering, “Glass Houses.” Harison co-wrote the song with Natalie Roseblade, alongside its producers Daoud, Akeel Henry and D’Mile.
“I wrote ‘glass houses’ right at the end of making this project,” Harison said. “I just felt like something was missing from the story but couldn’t quite figure out what it was until I went into the studio on that day.
There’s really nothing more freeing than the acceptance of human-ness. I like the quote, ‘Hurt people, hurt people,’ because love, empathy, understanding is so much more powerful than hate and revenge. I’m so happy I was able to put my philosophy of that into this song.”
As indicated above, Ghosted is the follow-up to Harison’s debut EP, Lost a Friend. He told Wonderland, “Lost a Friend focuses on a really unique relationship and narrates the story from beginning to end. All the songs are kind of a marker on the timeline of events, and was really just a huge, nearly two-year-long therapy session for me.”
