Pablo Escobar’s Brother Hits Apple With $2.6B Lawsuit Over Security Threat

Pablo Escobar’s brother, Roberto, he’s seeking a huge payout from Apple after alleging that a security flaw on the iPhone endangered his life.

TMZ reports that Escobar filed a $2.6 billion against the tech giant because he received a letter from a man named Diego who claimed to have found his address by hacking the FaceTime app. After conducting his own private investigation, Escobar discovered his device was compromised.

As a result, he relocated and beefed up on security in fear of his safety, which consequently took a toll on his mental state.

In addition to the billion-dollar lawsuit, Roberto launched a 24-karat iPhone 11 that is available for purchase for $499.
