Omarion Signs Record Deal With Create Music Group
Grammy-nominated R&B singer Omarion has inked a deal with Create Music Group, a leading independent music and entertainment company.
He joins a roster that includes Jason Derulo, Keri Hilson, Tyrese, Durand Bernarr and more.
According to a press release, Omarion will return with new music later this year before joining his group B2K for a reunion tour in spring 2026.
“Great music needs a great home — and with Create Music Group, I found a team that matches my frequency,” says Omarion. “We’re tuned in, locked in, and ready to make music history…..Again.”
Wayne Hampton, co-founder of Create Music Group, adds, “Omarion has consistently broken new ground throughout his career. He represents the kind of iconic, forward-thinking artistry we champion here. We’re excited to help bring his next chapter to life in a way that’s both innovative and true to his legacy.”
Omarion’s manager, Jeanine McLean, comments, “I’m very excited for this new partnership with Omarion and the Create Music Group. Create has an impressive executive team and staff that really cares for the artists they sign. I’m equally excited for the fans to experience the musical journey that Omarion is going to take them on because this project is incredible…he put his whole heart and soul into it.”
Omarion’s upcoming new music will follow 2023’s Full Circle: Sonic Book Two, the sequel to the album he released earlier that year via Omarion Worldwide.
Sonic Book Two included collaborations with his brother O’Ryan and BJRNCK, while Sonic Book One featured Amber Riley a.k.a. RILEY, Sevyn Streeter and Rileyy Lanez.
“Sonic Book One is more of what I feel people want to hear. I think we are in a space where people want to hear upbeat music. They want to definitely get the R&B tunes, but maybe not so deep,” Omarion told Rated R&B in an interview. “Sonic Book Two is more in-depth. It’s deeper. It’s needed to put the listener in more of a reflective state.”
In other news, Omarion is scheduled to perform at the season seven premiere of the Tamron Hall Show on Sept. 8.
