O.T. Genasis Apologizes to Keyshia Cole Following Distasteful Comments
After O.T. Genasis made a remix to Keyshia Cole’s “Love,” … let’s just say there has been no love between the two. Cole has been very honest with her dislike of the crip-mix titled “Never Knew,” including her disappointment that Genasis never reached out prior to remixing the 2005 classic.
Recently, Genasis took to his IG live and mentioned a few distasteful comments about the singer that didn’t sit well with her sister, Neffe. “She ain’t sh*t. Keyshia Cole ain’t sh*t, I am,” the rapper said. “I’m the sh*t. Keyshia Cole ain’t. Coochie smelling like fish sticks. That’s what’s going on. Coochie smelling like fish sticks. Keyshia Cole p*ssy smelling like fish sticks.”
Even though Cole never posted any direct comments in response to the rapper, she still used her social media to indirectly express her frustration regarding the situation after responding to an account that asked what’s the point of beefing and retweeting a tweet suggesting that someone, “grows up.” “The sh*t getting disturbing now. Like dawg, you a grown-ass man and you rap, but now you known for mocking R&B singers and dancing at gas stations. Chasing the wrong type of clout my boy.”
After seeing O.T. Genasis’ trolling on the internet, Cole’s sister, Neffe took to Instagram to tell the Atlanta rapper to “Cut It.”
“I will never respect a Greasy disrespectful shadow of a man coming for a woman who has said nothing about you!” she wrote. “Men with Mommy issues trying to tear women down I know you got bullied in school and was always denied by the pretty girls clearly!” Neffe even took a jab at Genasis’ baby mother, Malika Haqq. “We gonna sit here and let him do that and think it’s funny? Sir continue to chase after the woman that is still trying to keep up with a kardashian! And you claim to be this gangsta… Crip walk yo a** to take care of that baby! Maybe if some fish sticks was in your mouth you would finally shut it!!!!!”
Well, it’s safe to say Neffe’s message could have given the rapper a change of heart because shortly after, he posted an apology on his Instagram in an attempt to de-escalate the situation. “Look @keyshiacole I was really just jokin on dat IG LIVE SH*T..Pple screen record and blow it out of proportion. Make a n*gga really look thirsty I ain’t trippin.” He then goes on to say, “I just be playin wit u cuz u played wit me. I ain’t trippin off you cuh! It’s all just fun. I apologize if I was disrespectful..PS- Just don’t disrespect me neither for yo n*gga have to carry yo weight. #IMDONEWITTHIS #GETTINGOUTOFHAND.”
Hopefully, the two can put it all behind them!
