Meg Thee Stallion Shames Black Blogs, “They Talk The Most Sh*t About Me”
Since Megan Thee Stallion’s fallout with Tory Lanez, it has seemingly been challenging for fans, artists, and media to pick a side.
When the news broke out that Tory Lanez allegedly shot Megan Thee Stallion, everybody backed up Meg, and the culture tried to cancel Tory, but as the details emerged, or lack thereof, of the shooting, the public’s opinion began shifting in Tory’s favor, and as a result, the Hot girl is hot and she’s blaming the black blogs.
The “Thot Sh*t” rapper went online to express her feelings. She said, “Black ran blogs talk the most sh*t abt me … but protect black women tho.”
In a previous statement, Thee stallion shared her feelings on revealing her truth. “My initial silence about what happened was out of fear for myself and my friends. Even as a victim, I have been met with skepticism and judgment. The way people have publicly questioned and debated whether I played a role in my own violent assault proves that my fears about discussing what happened were, unfortunately, warranted.”
After a fan replied with words of encouragement, Meg proceeds to call the alleged behavior from black blogs “weird.”
Not sure if this tweet came from the frustrations between her and the Candian rapper, but in Megan’s defense, since she became a megastar, she has always been standing up for women of color.
On Oct. 13, the New York Times published an opinion piece by Thee Stallion, stressing the importance of protecting Black women. The article gracefully shatters the feminist stereotypes society has set for African American women.
