Kanye West Confirms He Will Vote for Trump in 2020 Election in New Interview

Another day and more love for Donald Trump from Kanye West. The JESUS IS KING superstar spoke for a new cover story for GQ and he continued his support for President Trump.

In the past, West revealed that he did not vote in the past election and was a fan of Trump’s ideals. But that is now changing, he will cast a vote this year and says we already know where it is going.

“I’m definitely voting this time,” Kanye said to GQ’s Will Welch. “And we know who I’m voting on. And I’m not going to be told by the people around me and the people that have their agenda that my career is going to be over. Because guess what: I’m still here!”

Often, people ask how is this the same man who said: “George Bush doesn’t care about Black people.” Well, Kanye says that was a victim statement.

“‘This white person didn’t do something for us.’ That is stemmed in victim mentality. Every day I have to look in the mirror like I’m Robert De Niro and tell myself, ‘You are not a slave.’ As outspoken as I am, and the position that I am in, I need to tell myself,” Ye added.

Elsewhere in the interview Kanye details being a functioning alcoholic, gives permission to Nike to retro the Air Yeezy, opening up about Kobe Bryant’s death and more. You can read the interview here.
