Speaking on the track, Jeremih shared, “I feel like big songs have become a lost art in male R&B and with me, CB and Bryson, it just feels massive immediately. I know a lot of folks are going to say it’s been too long and I agree with them. I’ve definitely felt like R&B has been missing me, but I didn’t want to return with something that I felt wasn’t timeless.”
He added, “So, after getting off the road with 50 Cent last year, I finally got some time to put together something that I believe can last forever again.”
“Wait On It” is the first single from Jeremih’s upcoming release series, which will include three EPs and an album.
