Jacquees Announces New Album ‘Baby Making,’ Unveils Tracklist

Jacquees will release his new album, Baby Making, digitally on Nov. 1 and in stores Nov. 15 via Cash Money Records/Republic Records. 

The self-proclaimed King of R&B’s first project in two years will contain 10 tracks. At the time of publication, no songs from the upcoming album have been released ahead of time.

A few snippets from Baby Making are played in a trailer for the project, which recalls a late-night slow jams CD commercial from the ’90s and 2000s.

Per the description on YouTube, “Prepare for a sensual R&B experience like no other as Jacquees brings back the art of slow jams with his highly anticipated project, ‘BABY MAKING.’ This is more than music—it’s an invitation to set the MOOD for romance, passion, and connection. Enjoy this intimate musical collection that’s bound to spark desire… and maybe even a little procreation.”

Baby Making is the follow-up to Jacquees’ 2022 album, Sincerely For You. The album, executive produced by Future, debuted at No. 20 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart. It included features from Future himself, plus Summer Walker, 6LACK, Dreezy, 21 Savage and more. 

“This album, Sincerely For You, is really for just all my fans too. Of course, I’m pointing at a couple people, but with this, it is for my fans,” Jacquees told Zane Lowe of Apple Music. “It’s for everybody that’s been supporting me along the way. I feel like if you been here for me and you helped me get to this level of where I am in my career, then thank you.”

Since Sincerely For You, Jacquees has collaborated with rapper Killer Mike (“Maynard Vignette”), super producer Jermaine Dupri (“Pick it Up”), R&B duo Bluff City and most recently, songwriter extraordinaire Sean Garrett (“Baddie“).

In his personal life, the 30-year-old singer recently welcomed his first child with his fiancée Deiondra Sanders. The two announced their engagement in July via social media.
