George Floyd’s Autopsy Allegedly Reveals He Tested Positive for COVID-19
George Floyd’s autopsy is the latest controversy in his case. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office and Chief Medical Examiner Andrew Baker tried to allege that Floyd’s pre-existing health conditions are the reason he died.
Although Officer Derek Chauvin had his knee on Floyd’s neck for about nine minutes and the victim repeatedly informed him that he couldn’t breathe, Minnesota medical examiners allegedly found fentanyl and methamphetamine in his body. Now they’re saying he tested positive for COVID-19 on April 3rd.
Every other irrelevant reason is mentioned as a cause of death other than asphyxia, like Floyd’s family’s independent autopsy stated.
Dr. Michael Baden said in a press conference that George Floyd died of “asphyxiation due to neck and back compression.” Baden’s findings upgraded Chauvin’s charges from third degree to second degree.
This is a big step in the right direction but the fight isn’t over. The other three officers involved have all been arrested and charged. Let’s see what happens next.
